We’re delighted to be working with Sky, Europe's leading media and entertainment company, supporting them with specialised diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing cultural assessments using our Vibe D&I survey. The tool will help to enhance relationships across the organisation.
Following Sky’s recent company-wide People Survey, we’re working with the D&I team on specific topics that arose from the survey data to support the business in continuing its work towards a diverse and inclusive culture.
The first stage in our research process prior to any survey design and delivery is to work with key stakeholders, leaders, and employees through evidence-based workshops, using our Vibe HR Diagnostic. Running separate workshops (to allow for open and honest discussions and diversity of thought), we asked a series of questions to help us (and them) understand what it’s like to work at Sky, across all demographic representations. We also spent time with leaders to understand where they are on their DEI and wellbeing journey and what initiatives are working well.
Following the survey, our Vibe team performed a deep dive into the data and insight to find the key themes that arose. We were helped by a fantastic participation rate (80%), demonstrating that employees wanted to share what they thought and felt about the D&I culture.
By cross referencing the insight with the diagnostic findings and the key themes arising from the engagement survey, we were able to demonstrate through qualitative and quantitative data where Sky’s real strengths were and what its D&I strategy should focus on over the next 12 months. Linking the data and insight to the D&I and people strategy allows organisations to ladder this back to the corporate strategy.
David Carrigan, Group Director, Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing
“The greatest challenge in driving an inclusive culture is being able to demonstrate the individual and collective actions that lead to great working environments. Our partnership with Vibe has been integral in making inclusion real for our people and they have provided insight that has enabled us to measure cultural change in a way that is robust and leads to action.
It was critical that we selected a partner that was creative and was open to working in a way that challenged traditional D&I thinking. Simon and his team led a client-first approach and built an excellent relationship with the business.”
Sharon Diep, Group D&I Strategic Programmes Manager
“The bespoke cultural survey designed by Vibe, has not only provided us with insights that identify the drivers behind our annual People Survey results, but they have also provided tangible solutions to making sustainable, cultural change.
Vibes expertise in leadership behaviours and business psychology has allowed us to unpack the root causes of some long-standing (and common) challenges that businesses face. The rich insights and bespoke solutions are all results of the team’s commendable efforts in taking the time to thoroughly understand the culture of our business.
A personal thanks goes to Stephanie Corking, for her exceptional expertise and agile way of working. It has been a pleasure working with her alongside Precious Aiwekhoe and Simon Kevan, who have also been incredibly supportive and accommodating throughout this project.
We are thrilled to be continuing our partnership with Vibe as we move into the next phase - delivering a bespoke 6-month Leadership Development Programme, led and developed by Vibe.”
