Laws of Attraction have been appointed by Servelec Technologies to support the global rollout of their company values across the business. The company, headquartered in Sheffield, England, is a market-leading provider of remote monitoring systems, secure SCADA systems, and business optimization software, supplying complete end-to-end automation and optimization solutions to clients around the world. As well as the UK Offices, Servelec Technologies has offices in Melbourne, Australia, Lyon, France, Waterloo, Belgium, Calgary, Canada, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Our work began with a diagnostic workshop at the company’s HQ in Sheffield, where we spoke to leaders, managers and employees about their relationship with the brand, the business and each other. We also spoke to the global offices via video calls to engage and enable buy in from not just the UK head office population.
This insight then informed the next phase of our work – supporting a communication strategy using the core values and behaviours to increase connection, communication and collaboration across the business.
We then went onto creating a brochure, wall art for the offices and posters to communicate the values to the wider company in a creative and engaging way. The communications help each and every one of their colleagues, no matter what their role, location or length of service, work towards the same common goal and share a bigger purpose.
These will serve as a daily reminder to leaders and employees of the importance of the values, and the role they will play in helping to inspire a new culture of cross-functional collaboration.
One of the key elements to the success of the values communication was creating the behaviours that help the Leaders, Managers, Technical Experts and all colleagues live and breathe the values on a daily basis. We created competencies based on the six values to help people understand how to demonstrate teamwork, trust and cooperation at work every day.
Having a robust company culture means employees living by the company values, mission and vision every day and encouraging teammates to do the same. If culture is, in part, about how well we empower our team members to perform their jobs with passion and integrity, it follows that a healthy culture would inevitably lead to a community of professionals who have ownership, respect for each other and solve problems in innovative ways.
Living and breathing the values and investing in your culture increases employee wellbeing, improves customer satisfaction and ultimately impacts on business performance. Talk to us of you’d like to hear more about how we can bring your values and culture to life….
